Hey,
First off this thread isn't a way to try and get my points removed faster, it's to see if there IS a way to get them removed faster.
For reasons I won't go into I've got 70 infraction points. They are set to "go away" next september. I just wondered if theres a way to get all of them, or some of them, removed before the set date...
Thanks :)

As time goes on the points are reduced until it completely expires.

How do you know how many you have?

Check your profile. It says what you did and when it expires.

Oh, so I won't just love the 70 on whatever date it is. They will get reduced and on that date I should have none left?

If your 70 points are set to expire on October 31st, you will have 0 infraction points after that day.

When they do expire, they have no affect anymore though. Nobody is able to view the information aside from the staff, so there's nothing to worry about.
It isn't the end of the world, it's not going to change anything on the site for you.

well... it won't when they go away, now it's just a pain in the ass waiting for mods to approve posts and stuff.. but fair enough I suppose.
Well... speaking of mods.. I'm done here. Any1 feel like locking the thread?

I approve posts as fast as I can, I promise! :) It might be slow sometimes because mods don't always remember to check for moderated posts that need approval. We don't constantly have a lot of restricted members, so we have to kind of watch and make note of when there are going to be moderated posts in the queue or not.
Annnnnd, locking by request.
