Many people have many different opinion about this subject. Give it a google if you are looking for some deep answer about that. I have some experience in that area though.

A bit of background: I'm 16 years old, 5' 9'', 120lbs, White skin, blond haired boy. I have very light facial hair that I shave a few times a week. I have very very light hair on my chest and stomach that I love and have no need to get rid of. I have had a good bit of underarm hair for a few years now, I have never shaved and never will. I especially love the little hairs from my belly button down to my pubic hair, their very light. By pubic hair is thick and dark brown, its all around my genitals on my scrotum, base of my penis and butt crack.

My experiences:
I shave my face a few times a week with either an electric shave or normal safety razor. Ive done it for the last few year it has not made my hair grow faster or thicker than it normally would, it is still very light and thin.

I have shaved my whole pubic region before, at many different times to different extents. There was a few times where I shaved every hair around by genitals. I mean everything. It took a while to do it. Do as much as possible in the shower to avoid messy clean up. The best way to do it is to use scissors or a trimmer and cut it as close to the skin as possible. Then use a shaving cream and lather up EVERYTHING very well. Use a safety razor (normal facial razor people use to shave) and cut very slowly and patiently. Start with the easy flat parts (legs and upper pubic region). If you're in a warm shower your scrotum should be nice and soft/stretchy, pull it taught and shave very carefully. If you have to go over any part more than once put more cream on.

Shaving genital hair is a very tricky process their are many resources on the Internet to help you with this. When I did everything (genitals) I was super itchy for a week or so. The first day was amazing my penis looked bigger and I felt really good about it. I loved the way it looked. By the second day it was super itchy and almost unbearable. I vowed to never do it again. I was scratching my balls in public. Ir was terrible for a few days and then slowly got better. Since then I have broken my vow a few time and shaved it all. Now I'm much better at it and it is not nearly as bad. I can do it now without nearly as much itch. Although these days I find my trimming my pubes in stead of shaving them all off. It makes them look better and I still get to keep part of my 'mad hood' in tact.

I would suggest that everyone shaves all their pubic hair at least once. It was a good experience. Make sure if you choose to do it that you do it the right way. Use shaving cream!!! (chances are someone in your house has some they will not know is gone).

As to how fast they hair grows back it really depends on the person. I have never let may hair grow back fully in over a year. So I don't know how long it would take. I know I can go from nothing to 1/2 inch in few weeks but it really depends on you. Experiment! who cares if it looks weird for a few weeks. It's your body have fun with it!!

dont shave down there, this is a mistake. it will never grow back the same. men are meant to have hair down there, don't mess with it. just my 2 cents.:whoops:

Really make hair grow faster? When I did it, it always grew back at the same rate that it originally grew ... for example, if, from your very first pube all the way to the amount of hair that you shaved it at, it'll take exactly that long for it to grow back. Of course many of you probably didn't understand a single word I said.
What have you shaved? Mainly pubic hair but also leg hair. I will never shave or even trim my pubes again, but I can't say the same for this annoying leg hair.
How fast did it grow back? It takes about 4 months on average to get that full "bush" back. It'll always grow back the way it's supposed to be, not more, not less.
