i need help....

so i like this girl, Erica, shes a senior. and she has bf problems. let me explain.

her bf, Andy, recently broke up with her for another girl. not immediatly cuz he didnt know who he wanted. now Andy is dating the other girl after cheating, promising marriage, and saying i love you to Erica. Erica is heart-broken because shes in love with him and she thinks he is the one.:(

it was strange one time tho, she gave me some wise advice saying "if you like somebody, tell them."

but thing is...i find it hard to tell her. me and her are pretty close.
she gives me signals where she lets me know she appreciates me in ways but i dont know if its more than that. she has said, many times, "you're one of my favorites." she also says this when hugging me and kissing me head.
(she "owns" my head. long story.)
so....help please. im lost. and thx, ahead of time.

don't even think of telling her, not now at least. she's in a bad state mate, she truly needs a friend, not a love sick bloke. with time, she'll realise without you needing to spill your guts, that you've been there for her all along and that you're not such a poor substitute. so be patient and be her friend. good luck mate
