Since this game is sort of not super duper popular, I don't expect a lot of posts, but does anyone know if it is a good game? And I do not want to hear anything about ModernWarfare 2 in this thread. I'm asking becuase it looks really fun because of how realistic it is.

It looks cool, i was checking it out earlier in the store it looks cool. It got a 7.5/10 for its review on gamespot, i might get it when the price goes down and the realism is great.

One of the reviewres said the graphics are terrible. When I saw a gameplay video and they looked okay. People, I think, are bashing it because it's too real and stuff.

meh it's alright, nothing great, but nothing bad at the same time. All i can say is that the checkpoint system is complete crap. Had to hike for 2 kilometers to the extraction, died, and restarted at the beginning, and this is on the easiest difficulty available. You squad mates are kinda dumb, but at least the enemy's are realistic (well that's the point of this game), unlike other games were they have 100% accuracy. The squad thing is pretty useless, 90% of the time you'll have em' just follow you. I say it's worth just a rent, the online is alright, but nothing great, I say about 7.5/10, but will hold you over till Modern Warfare 2.

And just to add on, this game is pretty rare, this game was only at 1 blockbuster whiten 20 kilometers of me (have about 7 in that area) and I had to wait 2 days after release before it came trough. It's like they didn't have faith in their game, but a lot of people don't know about this game, there was no adverting no nothing, I only found out about it a month ago on another forum.

Looks like my kind of game, getting it on the 15th (Australian release date). I'm interested mainly because it's very realistic and supposedly close as you can get to a 'real war'. And unlike the COD games (which I enjoy by the way) you can't run into a firefight and go Rambo style, you need to carefully plan out each attack. One bullet can kill you in this game, and you must treat your injuries.

Ohh they've continued with Operation Flashpoint?

I don't know anything about it BUT assuming its LIKE the ORIGINAL Operation Flashpoint its a good game

''Challenging'' might be the word, though I remember calling bullshit over and over again being shot by some running Russian man with an AK from 2 kilometers while crawling on the edge of some forest..

Of course that was just one aspect and the original is ''old'' though graphics don't mean shit if the game has no content just fancy colors to impress 10 year olds..

Anyway yea.. If you like your games nice and easy with pretty little colors and AWESUM graphics with no tactics or strategy involved then it probably isn't for you since the 2 first Operation Flashpoint games were quite the same

I went to BlockBuster today and they had like five copies of the game with no-actual copies. SO, I don't think a lot were shipped to like everwhere and stuff, or however BlockBuster gets their games. The squadmates are just there if you can't do co-op, so try co-op and it'd probally be a lot more fun, and also, "hold you till ModernWarfare2" is a good joke because I'm not getting that super-hyped reincarnation of the first one, but this is not the place for that discussion, so thanks for the review/help.

Actually I've only been killed by 1 bullet like 3 times, and I've killed someone with 1 bullet like only once. I even got hit in the head and still lived for some reason, yes I know people have survived getting shot in the head, but I doubt they can place some bandages, and keep fighting like normal.

this is a great game people are just bashing it because of the realism they expect you to get shot 5 times and regain you health magically lol i highly recommend it
