Hello all! I have a question.
I met a 14 year old boy a few days ago (On a VideoChat site).
I'm 17.
We laughted alot and start camming on MSN (Yes c2c, nude).
We both enjoyed it, we had alot of fun.
He wanna do it again (me too :) ) but he is scarred its illegal.
Is this really illegal?
Remember :D He is 14, i'm 17.
Thanks! Mike.

I think it depends on where you live and where he lives. It's probably legal because you're both minors but don't take my word on this.

It is illegal to be exposing yourself online, and you can be charged with counts of posession involving child pornography if you watch, but if you're careful, and make sure that it's just the two of you watching one another, then there's literally no way for you to get caught, and you shouldn't worry about it. If you're concerned because of the age difference, then you shouldn't be, given it would be the least of your worries if you actually did get caught and punished for it.

Yeah, if I were you, I wouldn't do it again. It may be considered child porn if someone records it or if he records it. Plus, he may not be really 17

I'd suggest not to do this really with someone u don't know coz u cant trust them they could record it and put it on the internet so everyone can see

It could be considered child porn. I don't know for sure about your countries, but as JustNick said, very unwise--quit doing it.

In short minors getting online and sharing nudes of themselves surely must break some laws somewhere even if you are caming with someone who is also a minor. I think you had mentioned the kid is from Australia, and Australia is pretty strict with its internet laws which will definitely make me think there is some prohibition in place.
Listen, the kid in question is only 14, and he is still a kid in a lot of ways even if he has adult urges and an adult sized body. At 17 you are pretty close to adulthood and have much better decision making abilities than this kid. Where I am going is that if you want to get naked with someone, then do it with someone with your own age and not some kid who is barely out of junior high school.
Secondly, caming is never good as you never know who is on the other end or if the video can be saved and be used in the future. Also, would your respective parents be all right with what you folks are doing? Wouldn't it be horrible if on either end your parents found out about this? If you want to do sexual stuff, then get a boyfriend or girlfriend as doing stuff digitally leads to nothing but trouble.

I'm going to say that if it doesn't break any laws you should if your both okey with it, but personally I draw the line at getting involved with someone sexual(even if it is over the net) at 2 years age difference at my age at least so if it were me I wouldn't.

mate, the law's very clear about this sort of thing and will come down hard on the older bloke. indeed it's illegal for anyone anywhere under 18.

the legal age in australia for sex is 16 (not sure about holland). If he is 14 and you over 16 then I think that it might be illegal- but then again you are both under 18 therefore minors...
My advice is don't do it again, at least 'til you know whats definately illegal and what isn't.

It depends on where you live. But since you're both minors, I don't know for sure. If you're a minor and you're getting naked on camera, it can be considered child pornography. So, I suggest being careful.

The sexual age of consent in Australia is 16 and in some places it can apply to any kind of sexual contact.
If you are 17 and the other person is 14 then that would appear to make it illegal under Australian law. The consequences of being found out could be very bad.
My own personally advice to you is: Stop what you are doing and do not do it again in the future.

Liking him and/or being in a relationship (nothing sexual) with him is fine. Exposing yourself online isn't.

If you are in different countries, let it go dude, it is not worth it. if he does not want to, and you push it, you are asking for trouble. not sure if legal or not, but seeing as you are 17, you will be turning 18 sooner then he will, and then you will be "of age" and should not be communicating with an underage boy (even if it is innocent).
my suggestion, tell the boy you liked talking, but you are getting busy with school, etc. can have little free time. just end it. then, find some kids your own age, and own country, and talk to them online (still remembering once you turn 18, you can't be communicating with underage boys, even if all you are doing is talking, you never know where it will lead, and urges can take over). hope this helps.
