i was just curious, is there any marches/parads anything going on where you live to celebrate 420?

here in toronto (canada) 420 is HUGE and theres a march.parad thing and its SO fun.
everyone smokes pot right on the street and the police don't do anything because there HUGLEY outnumbered by pot heads.
although the march is on may6th.

Sort of here In Burlington. There are no parades but a few complexes just from a big group and smoke weed for hours. I got a freind who lives in the complex, he said it was huge.

well i live in a huge pothead neighbourhood so about 80% of people in my school were getting high all day (including me :/) it was just a sick day, everyone just at the smokers hill, good times.

on 420 i just stoned myself to sleep with my friends.
we started at 4:20pm and tried to stay up untill 4:20am but....it didnt quite work out.
pot heads fall asleep to fast

402, lol. Not too many people know how 420 came about. I've read all over the internet that it was just started by a group of San Francisco kids that used to smoke pot everyday after school at 420 and "420" spread like wildfire.

Yep, CapandCrush is right. That's basically what 420 is...

It's not really celebrated elsewhere in the world. In the UK we have 'greenfair' where you just goto this fair and get stoned or take otehr drugs.

acually 420 is hitlers birthday (most stonners know that)
and its not everyday at 4:20 its april 20th ( 4th month 20th day) which is his b-day

Yeah I have heard of it I live 2 hours from Toronto, I will probably check it out next year.

420 is also the police code for possession of marijuana. 422 is the code for actually smoking it. On some chats that have a profanity filter, both of them are filtered out, so that's where I assumed they came from. Could always Wiki it I suppose.

Here in OR we have a big celeberation, at least that's what I've heard. I just started smoking, so I didn't know about it :(
