I know i am totally stressing myself out over this, but I need recommendations for 11th Grade Honors Math, 10th Grade Honors Science, 10th Grade Honors Writing, and 9th Grade Honors History.
I am currently in 8th Accelerated Math (9th Honors) and 8th Adv. Language Arts (9th Grade) as an eighth grader

Any advice on how to get there? I know CSAP and MAPS and all those tests, but how do I get to that level of School (especially Math; I want to major in architecture)

What classes are you in? How did you get there? Did it just happen or did you stress yourself out like I'm doing?

If someone could give me a quick explanation of the following topics, that will be great:
Quadratics (especially equations)
Proofs

Quadratics as far as I know are equations that in it's simplest form, has X^2, or X to the second power, as its highest powered term. So, y=(X^2)+4 is a quadratic equation, while y=X+4 is only a linear equation. Quadratic equations also take the form of parabolas, which can pretty much be described as arcs.

If you wanna imagine throwing a ball up in the air, the ball will always follow the shape of a parabola unless it's acted on by an outside force.

Proofs are just a set of conclusions based on reasons given or reasons determined that something is true.

I'm probably not being specific enough. I'll try to come back and check to see if you have any more questions.

i'm blanking on the quadratics

a proof is simply doing an equation and using a list of rules (my teacher gave us a list of 40 something) to explain each step. it's not hard just long.

dude you need to relax. if you're in 8th taking 9th courses you shouldn't have a problem in highschool. AP classes are a bit more work, but if you're interested and/or good at it, then it's good for college resumes :)

If it all school systems work the same, then you probally have highschool recomendation where your teachers recomend you for classes for your freshman year and so on. You seem to be fine into getting into the classes you want, so don't worry.
