Hai!

Me and my mom had that 'talk' about puberty a few days ago. My mom isn't scared or embarresed to talk to be about these things, so she just comes out with it really.

Then came the topic of 'Wet Dreams', and i thought oh no!
My question is, would my parents know i was masturbating if i have had zero wet dreams in my life?
Is there anything i should do?

It's just something i'm worrying about right now!:(

*Another post further down somewhere..*

Not everyone gets wet dreams, I think.
And anyway, since 99% or more of the teenagers do it, they must suspect at least.

i have never had a wet dream and i've been able to cum for 4 years, and i don't think it matters if she knows or not.

Based upon your description above your Mum sounds pretty cool in that she is willing to talk to you about puberty. I would much rather have a parent like yours who is honest about sexuality than a parent who tries to sweep things under the rug. Granted, I am sure talking about masturbation and sex with a parent is really awkward, but at the same time parents obviously know a lot about sex otherwise you would not exist! Basically, don't feel weird about talking about puberty with your parent, and I would be grateful that at least your Mum cared enough to ensure that you are all right with developed. With that being said I know talking with women about male stuff can be hard, and if your Father is not in your life, then see if your Mum can get a responsible male to talk to you if you do have questions or concerns.

As for the whole wet dream thing, I would not worry as most of us who masturbate just don't get them. You don't need to have a wet dream to signal that you are in puberty, and a wet dream basically happens when one's semen resevoir gets filled up which usually happens when a person doesn't masturbate.

My guess is that your Mum knows you masturbate otherwise she would not talk to you about puberty. It is not a big deal as any parent who has a clue and who isn't living under a rock knows his/her teenager, be it a guy or a girl, masturbates. Masturbating is a fact of life, and I am sure your parents do so as well. My guess is that your Mum just wants you to be prepared just in case you have not ejaculated, yet, and for you to be hygienic with cleanup if you do cum. As mentioned below in one of the posts, there is no way folks can tell if you masturbated or not. Unless you tell someone that you had done so there is no outward sign that you have masturbated, and don't worry about doing it or how your parents will react. Assuming that the talk you had was supportive I seriously doubt your parents would freak out if they knew you were masturbating.

Knowing that your at the point in your life where you become curious about your body, you can pretty much know that your parents know you do it. There was a point in your mother and father's lives that they did it, so why would they think you wouldn't do it? Most teens do it, some don't. They can't tell if you have been masturbating. There are no signs that will reflect that you have, unless one arm bcomes slightly bigger than the other :P

Wet dreams on the other hand or something else. Wet dreams occur when you're asleep, as we all know and you won't even feel it. I'm sure it's happened to you, but you just don't know it! So don't worry about it if you think your parents know you're masturbating, because they probably already have come to the assumption that you do.

Just lie to her about having one. Or be honest and open about masturbating like she is with you with these talks.

Well...

My Dad is there, but he isn't the kind of guy to talk to about these things. (No offence to my father)

Well, this shows how my mom is...
I was going to watch a French Play at school, when i told my Mom about it, first thing she said was: 'Is it a French Porno?'
My mate was even with me!

Yes she was only joking, but the point is, it shows she doesn't worry these things and just comes out with it!

If you told her that you had never had a wet dream she would know that either:-
a. you wank
b. you haven't started cumming yet

Incidentally I disagree with Rubicon about the wet dreams, lots of guys wake up when they cum in a wet dream so you would know if that happened, and other guys find the evidence in the morning.

To be honest you're perfectly entitled not to answer any questions that you think are too personal. Just say "that's kinda private mum" or whatever.
