So I've reached the end of my rope with torrents.

I opened my saved torrents folder on my portable hard drive and all of the things I downloaded are GONE. I checked the recycle bin and they aren't there. I checked everywhere and I got nothing. Please tell me that there is SOMETHING I can do to recover the files.

You could try some file recovery software. A lot of programs will do a free scan for you, at least then you will know if it will find it to recover or not.

I don't know, I've never had to recover files.

The Easeus Deleted File Recovery (http://download.cnet.com/EASEUS-Deleted-File-Recovery/3000-2248_4-10867160.html?tag=mncol) software looks pretty good. I don't have any personal use of it though, so I can't tell you if it is good. User ratings are good though.

I'm currently using DiskDigger right now. It's doing an entire sweep of the disk, so I think this will really help. Any more help would be appreciated.

Recuva by Piriform (www.piriform.com\recuva)... should work fine. wokred for over 1500 photos i lost.. might work for you
