For those of us meat lovers, what was the best steak you ever had?
Mine would have been when I went to Indy last month. The family had stopped at a Texas Roadhouse for dinner. I ordered an 11 oz. steak with fries and seasoned rice. The steak was well done, but had a good amount of pink in it. I took one cut into the steak and it was so smooth. I took a bite and it was like chewing very soft leather. It went down easy, plus the rice and fries just added to the enjoyment :P

Honestly? It was one my aunt made for me, the first rare steak I had ever had and never went back. I've been to a couple up market restaurants and steak houses but i'd have to say so far, her's was the best.

It has to be the times I went to Smith & Wollensky, where my dad used to work. He gave me steak, with smashed potatoes, fries and I think a hamburger. I loved the steak. I wish I could eat there again...

I dont think I could single out just one steak in particular, but I love steak if its medium-rare. Cooked any more than that and it loses all its flavour, it needs to be pink and juicy. I dont mind if its a bit rarer but I wouldnt order "blue".
I like to have my steak with chips, grilled mushrooms and a simple green salad.

At this place (http://www.alamosteakhouse.com/). Jesus Christ was it good. I love New York Strip after eating one at that place. Was amazing. I can still taste it, and it was like six months ago.

That place is soooo expensive, you're so lucky man lol. Their steaks I heard are the shit.
Best steak I had is when I made T-Bone steaks and that shit was medium rare and very good.

I was thinking texas roadhouse before I read that it's where your favorite steak is. I absolutley love Texas Roadhouse. I ordered a 11 oz steak and i surf n' turfed it and got jumbo shrimp with it, along with fries, and it was so delicious i ate it all in about 10 minutes. I also ate about 20 rolls all together by myself while i was there. Their rolls are the best i've ever had
