Trouble with vBulletin

Well every thread or forum I open, I have to refresh the page for it to give me up to date data. Does anyone know whats wrong? Like is this just a bug or is it just me?

its not a bug or anything, its just normal, if it updated like normal it would slow the site down pretty bad.

You mean that it doesn't immediately show you if it's read or not? As Kolte said, this is not a bug. This is a preference set by us so the forums remain fast :)

Only the admins can see if your online, and it would have to be in the "Who's Online" information box.

no the thing says i'm offline but on the index page at the bottom where it says whos on i can see my name...

Heh, you are able to see you're own name. Look to see if you can see a * right by your name. That will show you that you're invisible.
