Disturbed FTW!!

Does anyone here like disturbed? I could go on all day about them. I used to live in Northridge, CA I was only .48 miles from Draimens house!

Haunted - Musically, Its brilliant, lyriclally, its just plain awesome!

Prayer - Musically, Its catchy and rhythmic, lyrically, Its so true, and I can relate to it.

Hell - Musically, Its got a good beat, lyrically, IDK I just love it

Darkness - Musically, it is different from their norm, Lyrically its so...well...I cant explain it, but It is one of those songs that just makes me want to cry, I can relate to it, and its kinda my life story

Dude, how can you say that? Alot of their music is uplifting to me. I can relate to alot of their songs such as Inside the fire (because I too lost a very close friend to suicide) and haunted as well as darkness (because I also lost my uncle at a young age) I guess it it just a matter of preference. But to clarify, I think you're crazy

I like Disturbed, but every one of their songs sound exactly the same....it gets so repetitious after a while...once you've heard one disturbed song, you've heard them all....

Zeesh!, don't jump on my case so quick! I was just sayin, I like them, and don't see how anyone can think they are "crappy" maybe dislike them, but not say they are '"crappy"

Yeah, they are pretty repetitive, but some of their songs are just pretty damn catchy. And I myself don't see how they're all that depressing, since a lot of their songs are pretty uplifting (Indestructible comes to mind.)

I think the only two songs I've heard from Disturbed are "Down With The Sickness" and their remake of "Land of Confusion". I enjoyed both, but their music style isn't to my liking. "Land of Confusion" wasn't too bad. They emphasised the guitar a bit from the original picking-at-the-strings style that Michael Rutherford used on the original version from 1986. A good band, just not really my ideal band.

I've gone off Disturbed quite a bit tbh, I used to be a big fan. My favourite song by them is definitely Prayer though.

I dislike them, I mean they are a good metal band if your into that kind of stuff. But in the long run, I don't think I'd ever listen to them, they just arent my style.

They're in a sub-genre of Metal called 'Nu Metal'.

And Disturbed kicks ass, they're my thrid most played artist (Behind Linkin Park and Bullet for My Valentine :p )

It really depends on how you look at it Tim. I don't consider Disturbed to be in any type Metal genre. I consider them Heavy Rock, just like you would consider aband like The Beach Boys or The Beatles as Oldies. I don't get sub genres. I think they are nothing more than a waste of time.

There are quite a few sub-genres, but I wouldn't see it as 'too many'.
And they're all pretty much needed. I mean, you wouldn't go putting Paramore in the same catagory as As I Lay Dying, or as Relient K, or as Disturbed, ect.
