well maybe its because u have to stand up i suggest when ur in the shower go fast and hard after a few minutes of jacking off and keep going fast and hard until it starts feeling reall good then u cum...

Everything boils down to being comfortable when you masturbate, and my guess is the positions which you mention clearly do not work for you unlike lying down. The reality is that when one stands up that there is a lot of pressure on the legs which you don't have laying down which allows one to relax. Also, environment is very important in being able to "perform," and cold damp showers or bathrooms in general usually are not as condusive as a bedroom when it comes to generating romantic feelings.

i have the same problem it takes me like half an hour to do it in the shower and standing up takes about twenty minutes for the lying down thing its because your muscles are stretched out and it makes the whole area more relaxed and for the shower thing if the water is fairly hot the yur snsitivity in your dick and balls is substantially less thean when you hve warm or moderate temp water try it also dont let the water hit the head of your penis cause that stops you ejaculating. :) hope i helped

I think its just a question of where you feel most comfortable and most relaxed, for many of us that will be on our bed. I don't find it easy to cum in a shower, this has been discussed before - do a search, this is quite common.

1) Standing up tends to take you out of your comfort zone, and a lot of people find it very difficult to become aroused enough to ejaculate if they themselves just aren't comfortable. But really, unless you feel it adds to the experience in some way, why not just do it lying down?
2) In the shower, again, it all has to do with comfort, however, the water may have something to do with it as well. A lot of people think of water as a lubricant, when in fact it can give a sort of resistant effect, and decrease the sensitivity of your penis.
