Does it count as SH if it doesn't bleed?

Generally, If you cut yourself and it doesn't bleed, it means the cut isn't that deep. So I wouldn't really call it a proper cut.
However, you are willingly doing it, and since you ARE doing it on purposely, I have mixed opinions. I'm sure you can understand why.
To me it still is, just not that bad.

Please refere back to my post.
You are on purposely scratching yourself. But since It's just scratching, I wouldn't call it SH. It's a tough one. There is a little difference between scratching and cutting yourself really lightly, like a graze.
However this IS something you need to stop. You had an upset face in that post, so stop doing it.

Self harm is the act of causing physical harm upon yourself and so yes, it does count.
Hitting yourself is another example of self harm that doesn't always result in blood being drawn.
Don't let yourself get caught up in the semantics of what may and may not count as self harm. Concentrate on stopping and finding alternative ways to cope.

Anything you do to hurt yourself on purpose is considered self harm. Hense the harming yourself.

I am going to agree with Sapphire :), if you feel pain it is still classified as self harming

It could very well count, I suggest seeking help now before it gets worse and bleeding begins.

If I burn myself with a cigarette, but it doesn't bleed, is that considered self harm???
Yes. Self harm = inflicting pain. Unless your skin doesn't have nerve endings, then cutting your skin or scratching in deliberately to cause yourself pain is self harm.
