Please help me!

I think that i'm in love with a girl 2 years younger than me!
I'm in year 10 at school and i'm 14 and a half. She's in year 8 and i don't even know her name!
I see her all the time, and I don't know what to do. Firstly, it seems so wrong and disgusting from my point of view and if anyone at school found out I would be taunted until I left. I'm truelly scared about myself and its affecting my work at school.
Despite that, I still love her and I don't even know her name. I don't know whether to try (ive never had a girlfriend before) or to stay constantly depressed until i leave. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.:(

Well forget about about in what year she is in.. You guys are barely 2 years apart, that is nothing...

Pursue it, you never know where it might take you.

Like Paula said, she's not too much younger than you. Year 8... *mentally computes that into the American system* She'll probably be 13 pretty soon anyways, right? Year 8 is the year most kids would turn 13, rather than turning 12? So it's not quite a two year age difference, even, unless you turn 15 before she turns 13.

Try to get to know her. Maybe you won't end up dating, and maybe she's not allowed to date yet given her age (some parents have rules about that). Every successful relationship starts out with basic friendship though, in my opinion, and that's where you need to start. Good luck, don't stress about it, and see where things go. :)

mate, girls are more mature than blokes. go up and talk to her and be her friend, there's nothing wrong with having a friend - but keep it that way and don't try anything. there's no need for you be depressed. once you're sufficiently happy with each other and you suspect she like you, tell her how you feel about her, and no heavies. good luck

Agreed, I have a friend who's a freshman going out with a junior girl, so age isn't a factor. Plus, you definitely need to learn her name.
