I'm thinking about switching from my Mac to a PC. Just cuz they're a hella lot cheaper. But what are some good points about switching? And bad points as well. It would be especially nice if someone here has actually done this before.
EDIT: Something under $500 would be nice; if you have any recommendations.

I love costco. Sales like a madman. I think this is the same one my brother got for his gf too. (random fact cuz I'm high off Sharpie (stupid art project))

You could always buy a PC and install Mac OS X on it, that way you spend way less on the hardware staying with the operating system that you are used to.

PC's are not as bad as people make them sound! Usually when people talk about their PC's having loads of viruses is because they were stupid and either didn't have a good antivirus prog. or didn't have one at all, or were clicking on every single thing like this :spam: : CONGRATULATIONS YOU ARE THE 1,000,000TH VISITOR TO THIS SITE, CLICK HERE TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE!!!! Also, Mac laptop batteries can explode! One person I know has had THREE batteries explode in his macbook. So don't listen to PC haters! Agreed, mac's have their high points, but PC's still rule!
