Trust me to make this topic. :P
I'm just wondering what other people put on their popcorn as far as seasonings or toppings go?
Most of the time these days I just put butter, salt, and parmesan cheese (the latter quite liberally) on whenever I make popcorn. I do, sometimes, put some spicy... spice... from our spice cabinet on (I can't really remember if it's cayenne pepper or what), and we sometimes get prepared seasonings for popcorn, some of which include salt and vinegar, cheddar cheese, sour cream and onion, etc. Those are quite good.
And if you make popcorn from a bag in the microwave... I'd suggest you change your ways because the stuff coating the bag is a carcinogen, and I bet whatever 'butter flavored' stuff is in there is pretty packed with chemicals.
If you get a hot air popper and kernels, it's a looooooooooot cheaper (Seriously, $5.00 for a bag that's equivalent to at least 50+ bags of microwave popcorn) as well, tastes fresher, and you get more room to experiment with toppings and stuff.
That's all I have to say about popcorn. :D Hoping to hear some creative topping ideas because I love experimenting.
