Okay, I love May (XxHeldByAThreadxX) but, now this one girls best friend is texting me about how Nikki, the girls best friend, really likes me. I like Nikki, as a friend, but actually a little more. Nikki's friend wants me to ask her out to Bandcoming (A homecoming for marching band people [I'm not in marching band, but she's in this group Color Guard, which is basically marching band, according to my school] which is on the 27th). I tried to explain I would probably be busy, which would probably be true.
But then her friend told me just to ask her out on a date. Now I'm caught in a pickle. First, I have never been on a date, and wouldn't know what to do, and what not to do. Second, I'm not sure if I like her so much as to go out with her. And finally, I love May.
I don't know what to do. I mean first and foremost, I'd have to ask May if it was alright, because I'm not gonna be sneaking around behind her back. And even if she says it OK if I go on the date, I'd probably so nervous as to the actual date, I'd barely enjoy myself.
Advice?
PS: This is weird, I'm normally giving advice, but now I want advice.

If you love someone you don't go on dates with other girls

I know, I was more asking about the Bandcoming thing. Like I mean I could just go with her as a friend.
As for the date, the first thing I thought was, I have to say no. I just told her, my phone was about to die, and can't find my phone charger. But if I tell her no, I'd want to tell her in person.

If you go as a friend you give her some kind of hope & ideas..
Of course if this girl is in your circle of friends or alike completely ignoring her would be rude
So if that's that, then yes as friends

Just tell her you already have a gf but you'll be friends.

Ok yes, she is my friend, and to completely ignore her would be very rude. But I could I think I should just go as friends.

Not an option. I'm not going to be announcing I have a long distance gf, with whom I've never met to people, they'd think I'm weird.

You should discuss it with May. Who is very pretty i must say. Just tell her you'll be taking her as a friend and explain how it will mean nothing. Theres no worry here mate.

Good luck man. I wish i could have said i had a past experience like this but I am completely anti-social in school. I have a group of friends I hang with every week, but they all go to different schools as I hate my school's people.

two things mate: first, there's nothing wrong with a long distance relationship and you certainly don't have to justify it to anyone; second, be a good friend and take the girl out as her escort only. it's a big deal for any girl to be escorted, you're not marrying her. just be certain you're always with people to avoid awkward times.
if you tell may you've got a problem, it may seem to her that you have mixed feelings. it's far better to show her that you're decisive mate, she'll trust you more. good luck
