Period/Masturbation question

Hey, I'm new, just joined today, and I've just been really worried about something...and, sorry if this sounds dumb or anything.

I haven't gotten my period since, maybe July, because I've masturbated so often. My mom doesn't know I masturbate and I'm not telling her. I have a Dr.'s appointment on Thursday, and I'm scared she'll bring up the fact I haven't had my period. Is there anything I can do to make it come faster? I don't know what to do.

I don't think that your excessive masturbating has anything to do with it. There isn't anything you can do to make you period come faster. You just might not be regualar yet and seeing a doctor about it is probably best anyways.

It's worth being careful with how you masturbate though, it's a very sensitive area and even the slightest change in pH or bacteria levels can set off a nasty infection.

If you were regular before - i'd say there was cause for concern, but i've personally gone months without a period before the settled, and i'm 18 now and they are still a little irregular.

You have nothing to worry about; you're 13 and the regularity of periods won't come for a long time; like others have said their periods might even be slightly irregular by age 18. At 13, irregular periods is pretty much expected for all girls (you aren't the only one).

Babe that happens to me..all the time..I havent' gotten my period for as long as you...it is kinda' weird..how old are you I'm 16.....but I don't believe masturbating has anything to do with your period..like it has already been previously said...Good luck

Yes, masturbate and do it often. Several times a day if you can. Period has nothing to do with weather or not you should masturbate. You could even masturbate when you are bleeding if you want to.

YOu don't need to ignore the feeling. And, you don't need to ask for approval here on y-answers if you want to masturbate.

Make like Nike and just do it. Then, when you are done you can say "Just did it"

I'm sure, as others have said, that you have started your period not to long ago so you may have irregularities. Do not worry my friend!!! ^_^

your period is probably just late hun its really nothing to worry about trust me. i too am guilty of masturbation and i have no problem with my periods, they are regular but sometimes switch up.
