Lets say you have a desktop an a laptop. Both are on the same network. You can access and play the music/videos etc that are on your desktop from your laptop. Or vice versa. iTunes has to be open at the same time on both computers though.

Oh, that sucks, I thought it was basically if you purchased stuff on this account, it is able to be streamed on any computer with the account.

I think it might be any computer with the account, but not sure.

Yes, any computer activated for the same account can use the feature. But it MUST be on the same network at the same time.
