if you are still loged on to vt and have the site up but leave it overnight are you still shown as online? or is there a cut off like 2or3 hours of no activity and you stop apearing online?

Actually Calum, it used to do that for me, but now when I have my computer for longer than thirty-minutes and I just leave my computer on VT, I'm still logged on.

your logged in when you come back because you have it set to remember me or sometihn like that
but if you watch when someone has been inactive for half an hour they will then go offline

Oh, my computer is weird, because it used to log me out and now all I have to do is refresh, but it doesn't really bother me.

If you have the log in options set in to "Remember Me" then you'll be logged in whenever you visit the forums. Same for pretty much every forum out there. But if you are inactive for at least 30 minutes you're logged out.
