Circumcision scar?

I have this dark brown ring around my penis and after googling it I figured out that it is my circumcision scar.

After comparing to a few pictures (call me a faggot -.-) and reading some yahoo answers, apparently it's supposed to become less noticeable after a while. I'm white, so it's really dark against my skin. Is this normal?

This is totally normal, eveybody's penis looks different. For example, some people day the head of their penis looks, red, some pink, some purple

Ya.. I would say it should be Okay.. Unless its like BLACK.. then i would go get it checked out.. even if it is Brownish I would advise you to go get it checked out.. But if its pink or red, its okay.. Most men will get pink scars around there penis and yes, it will go away as you get older..

Well it's more of a lighter brown that gets even lighter when erect, so I think I'm just gonna wait 'till I get older and hope it goes away.

Yes it is normal but your scar may not become less noticeable, which isn't bad :)

its the same here, i was cut 3 weeks ago, and he told me this is normal, with time, the scar will become less visible

everyone's different mate. it depends on the pigmentation of the skin. even if you're white, a darker complexion would lend itself to darker pigmentation.

yeah I'm white and my circumcision scar is still pretty dark. I was cut at birth, the scar doesn't really bother me though

That is normal. You probaly was cut with the gomco clamp. The scar is that way because of the clamp is left on while it crusses you foreskin for about 5 minutes. This is very common in boys. It can also be v shaped

yup, got one too, all my bros also have it. I am mix chinese/british and apparently according to my older bro cacasians have more obvious scars and it also depends on how you were cut....... my scar is not that dark but it's fairly thick, Does any one have that to ??
