Okay so yesturday my right breast started hurting really bad.
Today it hurts even more it's super sensitive to the touch.
Also i was feeling it and there is a lump that isn't in my left breast.
It's below my nipple and that's were the pain is too.
I'm gonna talk to my mom about it when she gets home and see if i can
go to the doctor.
but have any of you expericenced this?
or do you know what it could possibly be?
the lump is a circle and my guess is about 4 inchs around
its on the lower in part behind my nipple and it hurts real bad.
I looked up to see if teens could get breast cancer and they can but
typically its about the size of a pea or a marble but this is bigger
it might be something to do with tissue but i'm not sure and kinda worried.

It's not uncommon to get pains there. I'm glad you're going to talk to your mom about it though, good choice. Don't worry too much about it though, it's quite likely to be nothing.

You should talk to your mom, and go to a doctor. If it's breast cancer...well I don't know. Let's just hope its not.

It's common for the breasts to experience pain when they're growing and maturing. It has nothing to do with cancer.

"Not eating properly" may be an explanation, but very probably not. As you go through puberty and your breasts develop, the tissue around that area is going to get sore, hard, puffy, or any combination of those really, it's just part of the growing phase.

Give it a little bit, but if it does continue for a long time, remember that going to the doctor's office never hurts anything. Just a precaution to take that could save you trouble later.

That said, normally nothing to worry about, so you'll be fine.

well its not particularly from "not eating well" its the caffeine
and my mom felt it and said that she got the same thing just she was a little
older than i am.
and my aunt is a natural path doctor and she has breast cancer and told me its not
anything bad and its completely normal.

Well lets hope that its not breast cancer. And yes, its normal for breasts to feel sensitive and have what appears to be "lumps" on the inside. I was reading a thread a couple days back and one member had a very informative post so I thought I would post the link here. Its the first response to the question I believe.

I have one on either breast, right up under my arms almost and when I get close to my period they begins to hurt.

I went to the doctors about it, though and he told he it was just tissue, so it might be the same for you as well. But the doctor told me it is always good to check up just in case, so yeah, go to the doctors anyway.

I've been breast feeding for 7 wks and for past 3 wks I keep getting a sharp nerve-like pain in my breasts at any given time - full, empty, due a feed, just fed. It is so painful it stops me in my tracks. Its really getting me down and making me start to hate bfeeding.

I know its not mastitus as dont have the hot, painful, hard patch and it happens in both breasts at the same time. Plus my nipples are fine, they were cracked in early days but are healed now so it cant be that.

Has anyone else experienced this? Did you find anything helped it?

see...if u have a family history of cancer i suppose...so it would b realy good if u go see a dr. not just ur GP but an oncologist(cancer specialist)
just ask him to check as to wedr the lump is cancerous/benign(non cancerous)..
also its advisble to keep a record of the size of the lumps..and since u r a teenager...u cud get d tests once in say 1.5 or 2 yrs in case
I had d same issue...and i could only feel 1 in my left breast it dint even pain..but on the examination by dr. i gota know i had like total 3-4 in both breasts..
but u know what..d doc told me..he said its good if it pains...chances of it being benign is more..
YOU chek one thing...wedr u r able to move d lumps within ur breasts...if its possible then u dont need to worry(u kno dey call des lumps...rat of the breast )
n u shud get a ultrasound of both breasts so as to note d size ...so as to check wedr der is increase n all...u shud get it done like every 2 yrs or so..

and as to what ur mom said...its partialyy true...kz doc told me...i m little overweight..and des stuff happen more to overweight ppl..so u shud xcercise more..n b more active..sleeping patterns n caffenine in take in form of choclates is also sais to effect it...

i hope its of ny help...
though i m replying realy late...but i thought it would be worth sharing first hand info :)

ITS NOT CANCER! Anyone who has said so has an appallingly poor grasp on the female anatomy.

It's your mammary glands, and they hurt when they grow, and when you have certain hormones. Which as we all know fluctuate madly during puberty.

Google them and they are shown in diagrams etc. Most breast tissue is fatty deposits but the mammary glands in the middle feel like a large hardish lump, they are what makes the milk, so they are behind and slightly beneath your nipples.

If they are really painful and start swelling, odds are you're pregnant :)
