I have asian parents, and they have NEVER used antiperspirant before. I think they've never even ENCOUNTERED IT. and i continuously sweat ALL THE TIME. i've already tried mitchum and it works better then other ones. BUT I STILL SWEAT alot, and i sweat when i just STAND. and im not SUPER fat. im pretty much average... and i heard about hyperhydrosis
but the treatment needs a prescription.
So how do i ask my parents for antiperspirant - and to go to the doctor?

I think I know about what you are referring as I have noticed that some folks who are not from places where deodorant is regularly used tend to wonder the need for it. As a result, it is going to make it kind of hard for you to explain your situation to your parents. Before you see a doctor I would do the following:

1) Make sure that your clothing is not too tight as sometimes tight clothing can lead to sweating.

2) Check out the material of your clothing as things like polyester might lead to sweating, and you might want to stick to cotton based garments.

3) Ensure that you are showering at least daily, and use a good brand of soap or body cleanser to remain clean. Even using things like the Target brand body cleaners are fine, and you might need to experiment with a couple of brands to finally get one that works.

4) As for deodorants, try several brands as it is going to take trial and error to get one which works well.

5) You might also want to put baby powder on yourself as that might cut down on your issue.

To answer your question directly, if you really want to see the doctor about this problem, then you need to come up with a reason which would lead your parents to let you see one. My guess is that your parents are more into homebased remedies, and if you talk about your sweating problem they might not let you see a doctor. I would say that you have really itchy skin or some skin irritation, and that should be enough to get you over to the doctor. When you actually get into the office, then you can talk about your concern.

Finally, not meaning to disgress, but if you do sweat a lot everywhere, then make sure you change your socks, underwear, and clothing daily. Also, if your feet sweat a lot, then don't wear the same pair of shoes for two day in a row as you should alternate between shoes to let one pair dry out.

You just have to be serious about it, be blunt and let it out there. I really don't think it would be a concern. If it is, try to find another way to go!

Try this, put freshly squeezed lemon juice onto your pits. The dirty smell of sweat is caused by the bacteria living in the damp conditions. Lemons are acidic so they kill the bacteria. (BTW use this until you get a proper deodrant. You can also get a small itch - if you do, wash your pits...) Hope this helped.

just tell them that you don't like smelling of sweat.
