Isle of Dogs - I like Wes Anderson's stuff and this was pretty Wes Anderson-y. I thought it was OK but there was something missing and I'd rank this towards the bottom of his stuff.

A Quiet Place - Not great but I enjoyed it. They should have left out the score entirely since it seemed like it defeated the purpose of having everything be quiet.

Being a film major, I see a lot of really random movies, and a vast majority are foreign films. The last one I watched was a 2006 German movie called Das Leben der Anderen or The Lives of Others, which was about how the East German communist government would send secret police to spy on "suspicious" people 24 hours a day. It's rated R, but it is one of the best films I've seen in a long time
