Positively surprised. The animation was fantastic and recreated the atmosphere down to the last detail. Some of the plot dragged on and I hated the predictable reveal towards the finale, but it was a fun ride while it lasted.

Watched "The Fault in Our Stars" today.
All I have to say is this: it's a beautiful story. I'm not usually one to cry during movies, and I ALMOST walked away without crying, but the ending just.... idk it got to me man. :P if you go see it you will definitely leave the auditorium, theatre, friends house, couch, or bed with you slightly changed in some way.

On a scale from 1/10, I give it a 9.5. The story is absolutely amazing. There is a part of the movie that is left out (probably for time sake) that would make the story a little better, but what remains in the story, how it's presented, and the cinematography make up for it completely.
