That's not good advice. anorexia is an eating disorder.

It's much more to do with her distorted body image, lack of self esteem and abnormal defense mechanisms. Everytime she gets stressed she finds it easier to control her weight to deal with the problem.

Giving her support and boosting her self confidence with a few discreet compliments here and there will definatly help.
