Wanting a Baby

Okay so i've been with this wonderful girl for like three years, it is all great, but recently she has really been wanting to have a baby, I am not ready to support a family yet but she is very adamant about it, I was hoping to get some advice on the matter.

I want to be the father of her children, but now just isn't the best time.
I want to tell her without scaring her off, because she isn't loved by her family too well and she means the world to me, I am planning on the proposal sometime soon, i am going insane.

Advice is greatly appreciated.

I guess that all depends on how old you are.

Don't have a kid until you are ready to be a dad. If your girl friend can't wait then maybe you should have a talk and really let her know how you feel. Don't be pressured into being a dad when you are not ready.

Being a parent is a huge responsibility and should not be taken lightly by either of you. It will change both of your lives drastically and neither of your lives will be the same.

Yeah dude its a huge amount of work, you have to do. Alot of responsablililty sleepless nights and it will ruin your relationship. Tell her your not ready you love her but you need to grow up not have babies.

Being that you're on a teen forum, chances are you're too young for kids. Tell her to get a hobby.

You should wait, having a baby is a lot of work. Make sure you have a steady job, a good home and a great relationship. Then consider children!
