Hello everybody, my foreskin doesnt pull back, only as far as the slit where I urinate. People have told me getting circumsized is the answer, I dont want to be circumsized, any other things that could help my problem?

Circumcision is really the method of last resort, and for folks like you who do have this issue it is really more common than you think. Bear in mind that many guys who are new to puberty have problems retracting their foreskin, and you are not along. Stretching exercises daily in a warm shower is a good first step to loosening things up. Don't pull too hard and too fast, and gradually work on loosening things. Clearly, if things are not working, then see your doctor who can evaluate your situation. There are steroidal creams/ointments out there which can actually help your situation especially if your foreskin is very tight. There is no shame to go to the doctor as your situation is so common it is not even funny. Also, your parents won't freak out as boys your age generally start to retract their foreskins anyway.

I really didn't have a choice as a baby! I wouldn't have if I had the choice :P It's natural to have foreskin.

You dont have to get circumsised... just retract your foreskin as far as you can every day, and try to keep it like that for as long as you can before it gets painful. Do this everyday until it becomes more loose.

Hey mate mine didn't used to go back the whole way either you just have to stretch it slowly and eventually it should roll back.
If you have any more problems I'd go see a doctor.
But circumcision really is a last resort, I am pretty sure that this problem can be solved without circumcision.

Hi m8.

My foreskin didnt retract and last year i had to have a circumcision, i told dad it wouldnt pull back, dad asked me if it ballooned up when i peed i said yeah, i then for some unknown reason showed him, he told me that when he was a boy he had to have a circumcision because of a condition(i knew he had a different looking dick than me but didnt know what it was called etc), he took me up to see our doctor he gave me some cream which i had to put on it, which i did and it didnt solve the problem dad took me to see another doctor in the same health centre who checked me out and told me i had phimosis and would need a circumcision but because the nhs dont do it i would have to go private, i went for a check up at the nuffield hospital and was told it would cost £1900 dad said ok, we will think about it..

The next day dad told me that he had made a appointment in a clinic in Luton cost was £260, 3 weeks later and bricking myself daily with fear i went with dad down to luton for my circumcision, i went in they checked my penis and said i was still small enough for a plastibell, dad and i went in they told me to play on my psp which i did..

they injected me the 1st one hurt but the others i couldnt feel.

they then cut my foreskin slightly and stuck this plastic device over my penis head dad asked then to cut my frenum which they zapped with a device then they pulled the foreskin up over it and tied it and it took less than 20 minutes from start to finish, i was relieved, we then caught a bus back to milton keynes then the train back here.

That night i couldnt sleep not because of pain but because it was weired having this thing on me..i did have a bit of uncomfort for 3-4 days but paracetamol provided the pain killer

everyday dad checked it was ok and i had to have a bath wth salt in..each day the foreskin was getting darker in colour and.. then

10 days later whilst on holiday with dad it fell off, it looked a bit weired for a few weeks but then it looked like a circumcised penis.

I have the plastibell in my room and im glad i was circumcised because it was getting painful when i had erections, but i know not everyone needs a circumcision but guys if you do go for it it wasnt as bad i was expecting honest.
