Hi guys, well recently I’ve adopted the enjoyable sport that is swimming, I took it up because I needed to work on my freestyle stroke in order to pass my Lifeguard fitness test (but that’s another story!)
Anyway, since my discovery of swimming I have endeavoured to find a pair of swimming goggles that did not fog up after five minutes of use, needless to say after purchasing six pairs of goggles to a total of over £75 I have finally found a pair. Today I had no shifts at the pool, so I thought I might as well do something constructive with my time and decided to write a short review of my new companions. Anyway, I thought the lovely people at VT might want a butcher’s so here it is. Please give me constructive criticism.
Oh and by the way, I’m debating whether or not to take English Language at A level, so please tell me if you believe I have the propensity and aptitude required to obtain an A!
*Ahem*
Sam's Review of the Speedo Futura Ice Plus Goggles
These goggles, simply put, are the epitome of training goggles. I have tried many goggles in my time, and quite a few from the Speedo range, however I have seldom found anything more than an abundance of problems.
The 'ultra anti-fog' technology is amazing and performs flawlessly, the goggles fit my face perfectly, are comfortable, and press in to form an immaculate, air-tight seal that simply doesn't let any water in, even when erroneously diving in from the side!
The packaging is attractive and discrete and Speedo even throw in a small carry pouch to store them in, I believe this pouch is made from the same materials they use to make some of their suits.
However, I feel that it is important that I remind you that these are from Speedo's 'Training & Fitness' range, and I don't personally feel that they are very suitable for racing in, especially in short distance events. This fact combined with the overall appearance of the goggles is my only concern (hence the 4/5 stars for 'performance'.)
In conclusion this product exudes quality and to receive all of these features for the paltry sum of £9, you would be crazy not to purchase a pair!
