I have dreams of attacking people, and violence. As well as really random dreams.. I heard that thoughts of attacking people had reference to one of the symptoms of depression. Could this be linked at all? I know no one here can directly say YES but COULD it be linked?

I guess it could be. But, I have dreams about attacking people, but for me, it's not depression, it's just the fact I bottle up emotions, and they my way of relieving them, so that could be your problem too.

I wouldn't worry about it, if you really feel like you are going through depression you should talk to someone in real life.

Yes, dreams can be related to mood. They can also be linked to subconscious thoughts and desires, or can be a way of processing everything that's happened during our day... No one really knows 100% what causes dreams, but I do know that mood can influence them.

Dreams are a way for our mind to make sense of the world. Mood definetly influences dreams, and if you're going through depression, the violent dreams are to be expected, IMO. Not saying that they're a good thing, it just makes sense. I'm sorry dreams are affecting you in this way.
