So , I just wanted people to know so here goes:

On the way home from a tennis match another team member was texting me (so we could have a private convo on the bus) and he wanted to know if I liked his friend who was gay. Still closeted then so I just asked why he thinks that and then finally tell him no :( sadly a little later. Then when I was talking to the guy who he was questioning me about on facebook, he guessed it and I just said yes, for now we are keeping it between us but I will start telling people slowly.

Plus, I can't tell everyone because if it got home, and believe me it would cause its such a small town and my mom knows everyone plus my step-bro will be in high school next year and since he lives with my homophobe dad and step-mom (I live with my mom) I can't tell eveyone and let it spread around. But it feels good to tell someone anyways.

I know about the small town and not wanting it to get around. Thankfully my family has been really supportive. I've got a few really close friends that know but there's no way I can come out completely. Hang in there and lean on the people you know you can trust. If it was anything like me, it felt like a huge weight was taken off me when i just told one person. Nobody says you have to tell everybody right away.

I go to a catholic high school in the heart of atlanta, so I can't really be as open about my sexuality. :P

This seems so wierd to me. My school, family and friends are entirely open about different sexual orientations. I came out so easily (Im bi) and nobody was effected. I wish everybody could be like that. But of course we still have homophobes but mojority of the people are cool with it. Anyways, im happy you found someone and it really does feel better when you can talk about it.

Good for you, it is nice to have someone to talk to and you just take your time to tell all who you need to tell and if they don't accept you for who you are then they aren't worth knowing.
