If you remember my earlier post I said that I defended people at my high school because of my authority in the student body etc. well I am not as respected as I was during 9th grade year so now a new team captain of the Varsity team was picked yesterday and I saw him beat up this freshmen so I went to try and tell him to stop and he and 4 other guys came up to me and said "Look who it is mr. ex team captain coming to the nerd's rescue." and they charged at me and hit me. I know if I don't do something he will end up beating up more freshmen's I know what you guys are gonna say "Why would you even try and fight him? you should of told an adult." but you don't understand,it won't help he's respected by almost all the teachers and they say that he doesn't do that and stuff like that. SO help.

Hell, you could even go to the cops. Assault is a crime, after all.

I hate to correct you, but assult is when you threaten someone, battery is when you actually inflict bodily harm. Battery is also a much more serious offense, and in some cases, a felony. It would surely help if you went to the principal, ar an asst. principal. Most public high schools have an SRO (school resource officer) He would be the best person to talk to.
I you have any questions, or want to talk, feel free to pm me :)

Assault is defined as 'an unlawful physical attack upon another.'
