I don't know the specific laws for where you live, but here it doesn't count as statutory rape unless you are 3 or more years older than the person (example 14 years old and a 17 year old) or if one is over 18 and the other is a minor (even 18 and 17 year olds together is considered stat rape.)
But like I said...dont count my word as law because I dont know the specifics for where you are...thats just here in tx. Good luck to you both

its not rape
its only rape if only one person agrees with sex but the other disagrees
by definition, thats what rape is...only one partner agreeing to sex

I was assuming he meant statutory rape...which regardless of how much consent you give if you have to large of an age difference or one is under 18 and the other isn't it's technically a form of rape. If you meant just rape than they're right.

something like that yeah
some folk have sex at insanely young ages...and some don't.
in canada, there's a new law that the age of conset it 16 (or 14...forgot) but that doesn't count if the people involved in the act are inbetween two years of age apart (or 3 years...forgot).
but then again, this law is near imposible to enforce for obvious reasons (they can't be ineveryone's bedroom/car/bathroomstall/party/couch/etc so they can't see what you do or when you do it) but i sapose the parents can prosecute. But who would they charge? the older one? the younger? the male? the female? (isn't that discriminate or sexist?)

there are many different classifications of rape.
The age of Statutory consent is, in most states of the US, abour 16/17/18. If a person of or over the age of statutory consent has sexual relations with a person under the age of statutory consent, it is considerd rape even if both parties agreed to the sex. In the case of you and your girlfriend JayThunder, it is not rape, you are both under the age of statory consent. *pats head*

to me rape is an intercourse that is forced, one person denying sex, but it actually means to have more power over another person. but about your relation, back in the old days, you can even have sex in your teen years but nowadays we aren't as responsible as back then and now we have to marry later on in our age.

the older of the 2...because the younger would be considered the "victim", weather it be the male or the female, whoever is older is who is charged.
