...me! :P
Once upon a time I was in the lowest groups for English at school, now I'm in the top class getting A's. Yay.
Our class wrote a creative writing piece and it's just been marked and graded recently, with mine only a few marks off an A* (which is A+ to all you Americans ;)) which are extremely hard to get in English over here, I think. I used to be called "the dumb one" at school...now they can eat their own words. I AM NOT DUMB ANYMORE. ;D
The great thing is, my GCSE coursework folder was originally only an average of a high B grade, now it's been boosted to an overall of an A grade. Yay.
I'm trying not to think about those few damn little marks I missed off the A* though...
So, that was my bit of good news!
I have GCSE mock exams on Thursday and I am not nervous one bit.
This may not be very exciting news to most you smartasses here but I don't care. Yay.

LOL
Marcie, I'm so proud.
I'm in AP Algebra III and Anatomy & Physiology.
(Those are the hardest)
I'm getting ready for the PSAT.
Which will determine if I can get a scholarship to a good school.

The British system is incredibly different to that!
I think if I were in that system I would be in AP English, with a few other subjects alongside that.

Well the system for Marcie is hardly likely to be the same for Declan now is it.
Well done Marcie.

I got 93% last term in the second bilingual English course.

Fun times.

Oh, and, as a side note @ Lawrence (not hijacking, I swear!):
If you're already in Alg III, the PSAT will be a breeeeze; it goes up through about Alg I and some Geometry. I scored above the 90th percentile across the board when I took it as a freshman, just to see where I stood. Didn't even take it sophomore year, just kept the original score. I was only like a month into geometry, but there weren't many of those questions on the test. Everything up through 8th grade prepared me just fine. So don't worry, AP Algebra should have prepared you well. :)
