Rochester, N.Y. -- Rochester police say 12-year old Camry McKnight, who was shot in the face Friday night on Hudson Avenue, has died from her injuries. Two other injured teens are in the hospital.
Rochester Police are still searching for the person who shot the three victims.
In a press briefing Saturday afternoon, Police Chief David Moore said two groups got into a confrontation when a man approached on bike and fired several rounds into the crowd.
15-year-old Tyshawn Riggins was shot in the back. He is listed in guarded condition. Dyquine Campbell, 13, was shot in the thigh. He is expected to recover.
Police are still looking for the suspect and interviewing witnesses.
Neighbors in the Hudson Avenue area say they are saddened but not surprised by the shooting.
Rochester Mayor Bob Duffy blamed the death on a "culture of violence" that needs to be fixed.
School counselors will be available at Freddie Thomas High School Monday for students who want to talk about McKnight's death. She was in seventh grade.
You know, it's sad that kids are getting shot, when nobody should be.
