Well, I just found a couple of condoms I got at school a couple of years ago (sex ed class lol), but they expired over a year ago...
I was wondering, what's so bad about an expired condom? I know I shouldn't use it for intercourse of any kind, but would there be any dangers or problems using them for j/o and stuff?

The problem is that they can have developed microscopic holes in them, and then as useless for preventing the spread of STD's or unplanned pregnancies.

Really the only reason they expire is because they don't feel like testing pass a certain date. If it is a condom with spermicidal then that means it no longer will kill the sperm. Basically they should be ok, but personally I wouldn't use them for sex, but for j/o they'd be good.

They have to expiry date for a reason. They become brittle and will tear easily during sex, which defeats the purpose of having one.

Using condoms past their expiration date is NOT OK.
NOTT OOKKKK
They could have warped, became weak, developed holes, ripped by themselves, etc. DO NOT DO THIS UNLESS YOU'RE 50% SURE YOU WANT A BABY OR SHE'S 50% SURE SHE WANTS YOUR STDS

It sounds like companies like Trojen don't want to get sued. I never knew that there was an experation date.

condos are made of rubber and rubber perishes over a period of time so never use an out of date condom
