There appears to be a bump or bulge inside my anus. It doesn't hurt or anything, and I haven't experienced any bleeding so I would usually just not worry about this, but then I realized something. I think this bulge is getting in the way of my poo when I go to the bathroom.

I've done a lot of research, and it could be a lot of things, hemoroids, a blood blister, a "fissure", but I do not want to go to the doctor for this unless it is necessary.

Now, I would like to ask. Especially for people that have gone through this: What things did you do AT HOME to cure yourself. I've read a lot of things such as "Use Preparation H", "Use ice on a cloth", drink water, ect. What I would like to know is any other things I do do at home. And please don't say "Go to a doctor" because that is the last thing I want to do.

I suggest going to the doctor it needs to be checked out because it is interfering with going to the bathroom. I know you don't want to go but if it is a hemorrhoid home remedies will not make it go away, it has to be removed by surgery. So go to the doctor anyway just to know what it is.

Yep, if its stopping you from going to the bathroom, see a doctor. It may be an infection. You can't do anything at home to get rid of it. If it is an infection, and you don't get it seen to, it could turn into something a lot worse.

Sorry buddy, but you have to see a doctor. Just call your clinic, make a private appointment.

Would their be anyway of doing that without my Mom knowing? That is probably a very dumb question, but I want to get this taken care of without my mom knowing.

I mine as well tell more information before I consider going to the doctor:

Before I go to the bathroom, I have the urge to poo. When I go, I push, and then the urge goes away. I can usually poo out a couple of small bits of poo. Then the problem goes away.

I wonder if the "infection" or whatever it is will go away in a couple days. The thing that I fear though is "clogging", but I would think that I would experience pain. Right now for example, I don't feel anything.

Infections don't just go away, they usually need antibiotics and if you just leave it then it will get a lot worse.

There is nothing to be embrassed about, just tell your mom.

Alright. Your comment, along with this really horrible story that I just read online about someone who left a similar case unnoticed has led me to talk to my mom.

But I've decided that I won't talk directly. I'm going to type up a couple paragraph paper upon my condition, why I couldn't tell her in person, and to please set up an appointment.

I'll post another reply with my letter.

Here is the letter that I typed for my mom:

I didn’t know how to say this in person, so I decided to type it out:

Over the past couple of days, I’ve noticed something wrong in my anus. I felt a bump inside, and it was effecting how much feces was coming out. I think it’s blocking my anus. I did some research, and I’ve ready blogs, medical articles, and stories about people in my same predicament. The story that led me to type this was about a guy in his early twenties that ignored a problem in his anus for over a year, and went to the doctor, and had to get surgery.

In my findings, I found that people with the same “condition” that I had also have a lot of pain and an uncomfortable feeling in their anus, and some reported that it bled. Fortunately, that is not the case for me.

I don’t know how I ended up with this “infection”, but it could be from a big piece of feces, or my finger might have cut the inside of it while wiping. Either way, I believe that I need to go see a doctor.

Can you set up an appointment with a doctor please? If I am guessing correctly, I may get a prescription of some sort, similar to the stuff I got when I got an infection in my finger. I’d like it to be scheduled before or after school, not on Tuesday or Thursday after school though. It can be later at night or early in the morning. It would be greatly appreciated!

I don’t know why I feel the need to type this up, especially since it is just an infection, but I couldn’t bring myself to tell you in person.

You don't want to let it get more infected, the best thing to do is to tell your mum outright, tell her what it is and you want to see a doctor about it :)

Edit: If it is blocking the feces coming out you need to see a doctor soon

If it is a hemaroid, it is nothing to worry about. Just get some hemoroidal cream, and apply it every time you shower every single day at least twice a day (The cream can be bought in a pharmacy store). If you have to poop while the cream is on, go and wipe yourself very well and reapply. Use a cutip for the hemoroidal cream, your gunna have to shove it inside a tad bit for the cream to work and for the hemaroid not to get bigger. Hemoroids hurt, especially when you poop. If your that concerned, go see your doctor.

Nice, that sums up everything you need to tell her, so you can type it up and give it to her or you can read it to her if you can. Good idea that you are going to tell her about your problem.
