Hey,
If porn isn't bad, then why do your parents care so much... I'm not talking specifically about my parents as it seems that most peoples wouldnt like you watching it... any ideas?

Because, technically, it is illegal to watch porn if you are under 18 (in America). And because parents find it inappropriate. I guarantee that when you are older and have kids, you will be the same; would you want your children running around watching people have sex?
And I'm the same, I see no problem with it now, but that will change when I'm (we're) parents.

Most parents don't want you watching porn because 1: they still think of you as their kid. They forget you're a teen with sexual needs. 2: because they think that porn is misogynistic or degrading to women. I honestly rarely encounter this. Just two adults having fun! If I had a teenage son or daughter I wouldn't care. I would know that when I was his age I was horny as hell. Besides, would you rather have your kid masturbating to porn, or having actual sex? I think that watching porn is a healthy expression of your sexuality.. I watch porn because it arouses me, and helps me imagine myself having real sex. It's just an 'experience enhancer' when you're alone and don't have the real thing lol XD Alright, I'm done preaching the greatness of porn now sorry for the speech lol

Parents find porn degrading.. well, most parents anyway. Also, porn is for 18+ only, but the internet has no secure way of knowing whether we are 18+, so if we get caught, our parents get shocked and mad. My mom already knows i watch gay porn... but my dad doesn't. He'd disown me if he found out...thats why i lock my computer with a 30 letter pasword... lol!!

... My parents are WAY more into porn / sex thing then any of me or my siblings, but i would imagine they would be a bit annoyed if they caught any of us looking at porn, just because they don't want to think of us as adults yet.
My mum brought back stickers for us from this festival, bless her!

It's not illegal to watch porn until your 18.
Because I ask, if there is a law who no one enforces.. is it really a law?

I have a few ideas:
1) Depending on your age, your parents would know you're committing a crime.
2) The idea of watching pornography assuming you're of or above legal age to watch, is considered by some to be degrading to the actors in it but more importantly, their son or daughter is degrading themselves.
3) Depending on your parents' moral and religious beliefs, they may see it as sinful or just something of such a disgusting nature.
4) Parents probably don't formally say "now hunny, don't watch porn, even when you're all grown up and even if you want to" or thereabouts. The main reason is, even for them to bring up to you, it's embarassing for them and they're well aware of how embarassing it is for you. It's not something most parents nor their children discuss openly and so they're probably not going to act very rationally, they'd probably act with anger, disgust, anxiety, etc... .
5) Parents probably think that there is too much "corruption", with more nudity, sexual themes and such in movies, ads, radio, magazines, TV shows, etc... . So they may view it as their precious child, whom they would almost always see positively, is now being "corrupted" by the media and by others. It doesn't matter if it's actual porn or just some nude model or if nobody is nude in the scene (i.e. revealing bikini models), they can see it as you being "corrupted". The problem now comes for them to figure out what to do about it and keep in mind, they don't want to see anything wrong with you as their child, which for them makes it very nerve-wracking. When they present the issue to you, you're no dummy and they're conflicted with how to address it to themselves and to you.
For myself, perhaps this may not apply to others, which is why I'm giving it as a separate reason, the actual nature of the pornography may not be the usual type where it's simply two adults having "normal sex". For parents, if they see what is necessary for you to get off, they may not share the same tastes and now they'll have to deal with not only you watching pornography, they'll have to deal with the nature of the pornography.

That is a good point.
However, the government can't turn around and say,'It is legal for everybody to watch Porn!' can they...?

I assume that there are people who do enforce it, however, it's probably not something that will be documented in the media or get a harsh sentence for. There's lots of "cyber-patrolling" (best word I can think of to describe it) for the "cyber-crime".

For that to occur, the government would need to change the laws on it and, well, I highly doubt that such a change in the laws would get passed, not to mention all of the mess it'd stir up by the citizens and other politicians.
