I happened upon this site and find it handy for checking out new meds. I have chatted briefly with the staff there to inquire more about it. I found out that this site is face to face doctor visit and they used to deliver pain meds within 3 days. I have notice also that they are serving several states than they used to. Has anyone tried phoneconsultation.com ?

You mention painkillers... What do you need prescription painkillers for, and why are you unhappy with the doctor who is currently prescribing them?
I don't know the site at all other than having looked at it just now, so I can't speak for how reliable it may (or may not) be--I've never even heard of it. If you have a documented condition and are being treated for it, I think the doctor treating you should be the one dealing with your medication.
What I did notice about the site is that it seems to be very expensive. As in, I wonder if this is about making money rather than helping anyone. I don't know if something like this would be covered under your typical insurance plan, and if it's not then this is money out of your own pocket. They don't mention anything about a copay and/or billing your insurance, they just want a money order. You can't go to a consultation until after they receive your money. A consultation costs between $200 and $300.
Any unscheduled call to the doctor is $50, and they say that, "under no circumstances should you contact the doctors directly", which is odd. Apparently talking with patients "increases their daily workload". o_0 The number you can call, however, is only good for questions relating to information about the company or the policy regarding your prescriptions, they can't answer anything medical. If I'm seeing a doctor for any reason, I want to be able to call and talk to them if I need to, without having to pay to do so. Every doctor I've ever been to is always available if I have a question; if they're currently not in the office, or with a patient, they'll call me back. And I don't have to pay $50 for it.
When you run out of refills with these people, they require a money order for another $140 for another consultation. Cha-ching! And I'm sure it doesn't end there.
Point is, I wouldn't trust these guys. I'd see a doctor I know I can trust, and moreover I'd see one who will talk to me without having to have the money before I can even get an appointment. The guys don't replace your regular doctor, these guys just deal with prescriptions. The reason they have doctors is to prevent fraud from people who are just drug-seeking, but the doctors don't diagnose anything; they go off of your medical records, which you have to fax to them ahead of time. What a hassle!
FYI, I have a mood disorder, which is one of the things these phone consultation people say they provide meds for. I'm not paying near this much to see my doctor about that. I doubt they have the pills for anything drastically different than what I'm paying, so it certainly can't make up for the hundreds of extra dollars in consultation fees and phone calls to the doctor.
It just seems fishy.

^Agreed.
With problems like these, you should definetly see a licensed medical professional.
