I don't see why it matters whether it's early or not. If someone is behind something, they say it in advance. Besides, early is better...especially when you're COMING OUT! That's something you plan or at least want to mentally prepare for.

But personally I think coming out should be personal, not on a specific day. This might encourage people to tell the truth, and then they might be beaten up or socially excluded because of that. Why not just come out at a time best for you? Honestly?

I'm already out pretty much but I've never actually said it so I'm just using it to be me. No one has to come out on that day but it helps having a plan.

I've changed my mind and I'm coming out completely on October 11th. My best friends and sister will all be told at different times leading up to the date but my parents and everyone else will know the 11th. (Thank you facebook haha) I'm really excited but at the same time I'm freaking out about what my parents' reaction will be :/
