Talk to your doctor about side effects, but definetly take them, as long as they don't make you tottaly, clinically insane.

NO they are a bad idea cause yo get addicted to them and you never deal with whats making u stressed,n,depressed.they also have some side effects that can be really bad like itching or groggyness also you should have relaxation time and time where you are surrounded by things that make u happy

I'm using mitrazapine atm, it's a sedative and it helps me sleep a lot more than another anti depressant (citalopram) did. Citalopram for me, gave me no appetite, sleeping problems, weird dreams, strong lack of sexual interest lol amongst other things. With mitrazapine like I said, I'm sleeping around 12 hours a day, hugely increased appetite (good for me), sexual interest back, still have weird dreams - but I can rest more. I'm very physically and mentally drained, but I'm glad I'm on medication atm to tell the truth. It really depends on the person and the problems you're dealing with.

ive been taking them for about 3 years now. to be honest some days i think i dont need them and wish i wasnt taking them. but i trust my parents and my counselor and im kinda glad that im still on them. hopefully one day i will be off of them but until im ready, im using them for what they were supposed to be used for. all i can say i that they have helped me and i havent had any side affects.

hope that helps.

They can be good, but make sure you're only taking them as a last resort, and make sure you talk to a doctor about it, so you know if there are any side-affects, and the possibility of them happening.
