I recently performed anal masturbation, and the hangnails cut some of the inside of my anus. I did some research, and this could lead to infection.
The only thing I feel right now is a slight uncomfortable feeling in my anus. Are there any signs of an infection that you guys know?

It MIGHT not be an anal infection, It might just be painful whilst it heals where you cut inside yourself.

The inside lining of your anus is very thin, and easily tears or gets cut. You're anus is also the place from which all the bacteria, dead cells and general "nasty" stuff from your body is excreted, so it is EXTREMELY likely that it will get infected.
Best advice - go see a doctor, who will probably prescribe general antibiotics. In the mean time, take vitamin C, drink plenty of water and get lots of sleep to help your body heal itself.
And FFS file/cut the hangnails.....

If you are really worried, see your doctor. It won't do any harm, and you'll feel better knowing.

I would but I am worried of what my parents would think of me "experimenting" with myself.

I feel much better after reading this. The burning sensation got replaced with like a numb feeling, like when you over use a muscle that you haven't use in a while. Plus there was no bleeding after the first night. There was a little one the first one. Thanks for giving me the article!

Doctors, if asked, will NOT tell your parents. There are patient confidentiality laws.
Anyway, aren't you technically experimenting with yourself already?
Just beucase it's numb doesn't mean its healed and free from infection. The second you get stressed or overtired it is likely to flare up again.
