How can I get to know someone when I never see them in person?

Well I know someone, haven't officially met but I'm positive we know who each other is. We are both seniors in high school, but I have no classes at all with her and I rarely see her in the hallway. She's not a popular/center of attention type girl, and I just think she is absolutely beautiful. How should I try to get to know her and maybe hang out with her sometime? The best I have now is her friendship on Facebook.

Suggest meeting up for a mutually enjoyed yet neutral activity. E.g. Going with some nice friends that she may also know to the cinema.

Starting small will get you far.

If you can talk to her, and since you're a senior in high school, you have the power to arrange things, and make them happen. If you have your liscense, maybe ask her if she wanted to meet up for lunch sometime. Do something that isn't so long it's awkward, but long enough so that you can get to know each other, talk and bond, then drive home and relax. If it goes well, maybe go out for a snack after school or something nice. There's millions of options here, so pick your choice and enjoy.

Why dont you get to know her better by asking her out or asked someone who knows her better...??
