Exercise - releases endorphins which make you feel more at ease and happy

Exercise is a great idea. There are many different natural stress relievers. Chocolate is another great one (not just for girls). It releases endorphins as well, but don't eat too much of it!

It can be done! I've beat depression, without drugs, or a councilor, or a doctor. I just had me, my friends, and Jesus. I get days where nothing makes sense and stuff, but not very often, and I do feel so happy.

You could speak to someone about your depression or you could do an activity that makes you happy like playing a game or a sport or hanging out with friends something that will get your mind off of your depression symptoms.

A good help to cure depression is exercise, it releases endorphins in your brain to give you that "feel good" feeling, chocolate, particularly dark chocolate, also releases endorphins in your system.
Another good way to help overcome your depression is just not thinking about it, keeping yourself busy and keep yourself around people who you care about at all times. Espiscially people who are extremely bubbly, positive and energetic as they will have you laughing and smiling in no time!

Well right now I'm treating depression without medicine, so I can pretty easily relate.
Exercise is good, it releases endorphins and everything, BUT in the end you need to go with what works for you. I run on a schedule, but I do it to stay in shape, if I'm feeling a little more depressed than usual, I don't run. It gives me time to think, and obsess, and worry, and freak out, and it's just not good for me.
I believe in the power of venting, find a good friend who can listen (girls are especially good at this) to you and help you out when you need it, plus there are a million people on here who will talk to you if you want it, everyones open to help here.
So just play around with it, see what works for you.

I believe it's possible to treat depression without medication.
It's down to the individual to try to help themselves in the majority of cases with help and support from others around them.
There are effective ways of coping with depression such as exercise, eating certain foods which release endorphins, confiding in a close friend, hot bubble baths, a good nights sleep, talking to your pets, doing an activity you enjoy whether that's reading, drawing, writing, watching your favourite movie or whatever.
