A one that comes to mind is called Salo or 120 Days of Sodom. Depending where you live it will be banned or you may need to be of a certain age to see it. If you want to see a movie that depicts some of the worst of humanity, humiliation, degradation, etc..., where almost all members are slowly tortured one-by-one, then that is what you would like. It includes such things as a teenage girl having to eat a pile of shit to a boy getting his tongue cut off and eyes dug out.
It's available on VHS, DVD and Blu-Ray, however, you could always download it online. It's all in Italian so if you get it online, then get it with English sub-titles. It was made in around 1975 so it's a bit old in terms of the environment it's in.
But other than that, what type of gore do you want and what level do you want? Most of Salo is mental torture with little bits of physical torture until the end where it's all physical torture.
In terms of ranking, Salo has much more mental torture and humiliation than the Saw movies. As for the physical gore, Saw may have a bit more but it's usually of some person in a device, whereas in Salo it's one (or more) people doing the torturing to the kids.

I tried to find a decent clip of Salo that shows the rather mild and low levels of gore in it and so here it is. It's censored for the nudity and such but in the real film, it's not. It seems a bit weird but I'm not going to explain why there are thing such as the men dressed in women's clothing, why one guy gets pissed off when one of the girls has a turd in her potty, etc... .
Here is the warning, if you don't like to see people (and by people, I mean teenagers) suffer, get humiliated and later on slowly killed (although the killing isn't in the clip), then don't watch. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6yojt_120-days-of-sodom-trailer-salo-120_shortfilms

Your a god. Salo is a perfect movie. It's quite disturbing, and there's not 5 minutes without someone naked. The movie isn't that much of a gorefest really until the end (popping eyeballs out, burning dicks, and cutting tongues up), but the circle of feces scene is just messed up. But I loved it.
Though the saw movies might be gory, i pay more attention to the suspence and story more. So i don't classify saw series.
Evil dead is pretty damn gory and funny at the sametime. I recomend that.

Maybe not as mind blowing as the above but 30 days of Night isn't half bad.
Vampires take over a town in the northpole, and as you know Night time is 30 days long there, it's a blood fest, and I love it.

Well, this can range to anything from the classic Friday the 13th movies, Freddy vs. Jason to Jeepers Creepers.
There's another one I thought of called The Ruins. It's a fairly new movie, made in 2008 or so. Most of it isn't too gory, it's a pretty good build-up but in one part, it does become somewhat gory, such as a woman slicing up her leg in order to dig out a parasite-like thing but ends up making herself essentially a meat stick and you still see the parasites moving through her legs. There's also performing amputations on a man without any pain killer and without proper equipment, only a rock, small knife, etc... .

Salo had quite a few bits of humour in it that made me laugh, although I'll admit, the Circle of Feces was a tad unusual, it was also a great scene of mental humiliation and mental torture.
The part I liked about it (well one of them anyways) was how it showed that you can destroy someone without having to lay a finger on them and do it purely by a mental standpoint. No other movie I know of has done it to such an extent and made it so beautiful and funny.
Other than that, I'm drawing a blank, other than the videos on the Internet, although those involve real people and no acting. But I'm sure you can find them yourself.

Cannibal Holocaust and Antichrist are some pretty disturbing shit right there. It's not the blood and gore that gets to me, it's just the whole purpose of them both.
Another gory movie which comes to mind is Martyrs. It is very gruesome and can be distressing, but I liked it. :)
