Metalcore/Screamo/Alternative

The music is most commonly known as screamo where I live, but can go by other names.
Bands like: Underoath, Haste the Day, Dance Gavin Dance, Bullet for My Valentine, Escape the Fate, Blessthefall, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Hawthorne Heights, I Set My Friends On Fire, Silverstein, Sky Eats Airplane, Sparks the Rescue, The Devil Wears Prada, Bring Me the Horizon, I Killed the Prom Queen, Chiodos, A Skylit Drive, Alesana, Lovehatehero, Attack Attack!, August Burns Red, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Ect...

Do you listen to it? Do you wonder why people listen to it? What's your opinion?

I listed some of the bands I know and listen to. I listen to almost everthing (genre wise) but this genre is one of my favourites. my favourite bands are: Silverstein, Dance Gavin Dance, The Devil Wears Prada, Drop Dead Gorgeous and I Set My Friends On Fire.

Underoath, Bullet For My Valentine, Escape the Fate, Hawthorne Heights, Silverstein, Sky Eats Airplane, Chiodos, A Skylit Drive, Attack Attack!, and Scary Kids Scaring Kids are all great bands. ^_^

The others I more or less didn't mention because I've either never heard of them or can't think of any songs by them off the top of my head. 0.o

But yeah, I like this "genre," but then again I like almost all music lol. If it sounds good, me likes it. :P

Even though I really hate a lot of screamo/alternative bands due to the fact that they sound too...emo?
