It's the mods job to be this way about their forums they're watching over. Plus I kinda don't like the title either. It's not that critical of a deal really. If it bothers the writer then ok, but I just say that it's nothing to really worry about. It'll happen.

I was being nice about it. You have (Activate) shown public contempt for the mods which is not allowed. I didn't attack the thread like "OH MY GOD YOU POSTED A TITLE THAT BREAKS A MINOR RULE". I said "Please don't make a title like this."

It's my job to make sure that all of the content of the thread is appropriate and conforms to the rules. One of those rules is that you are not allowed to show contempt for the mods. Not necessarily any specific mod, either. We're not "cranky", we're acting professional. Usually, I'll post just like any other teenager, however when a rule is broken, I am required to act professionally, at the stake of my position. It's not your thread, anyway. Why are you getting upset about it?

We actually don't have nearly as much power as some people think. I have a mod control panel, and from it, I can add announcements, edit/remove those announcements, and check IP addresses. On threads in the Puberty forum, I can close, open, edit, delete, stick, merge with another, and remove "moved" redirects. On posts inside threads in the Puberty forum, I can merge, move, delete, undelete, approve, and unapprove. I have no real power over members, but can send official warnings if necessary, which include a report to the admins. Outside of the Puberty forum, I am a regular member.

I'm not complaining though. I remember within a few days of joining VT, I wanted to become a mod, so I read up, and it said be consistently mature and helpful, so I did intentionally. When the opportunity arose to apply to be a mod, I was quick to respond.
