alright, i just started my freshman year of college, and i am 18 y/o. and I have never had a girlfriend, and i've never kissed a girl either. is this like beyond pathetic, because it seems like everybody on my dorm floor at college has at least gotten past hugging haha.

I was all shy in high school, and didn't get out much. But im looking at college as a fresh start, nobody knows me, and i can re-invent myself as an outgoing person. im hoping to anyway.

so is there any advice on how to do that? guys, tell me how to approach a girl i dont know without being creepy. and girls, how do you like to be approached?

I was also shy on middle school, and the first year of high school... then I noticed that being shy and not going out and everything was not going to make me happy... I started going out, meeting people, having fun... living my real life!! Start living yours too!! You've got nothing to loose!! Have fun, go out, meet people... do it while you're still young :) Then when you're like 40 or 50 you'll just regret not doing what you would have liked! :)

alright two already, that didnt take long haha. im completely new to this site by the way. just made my account today (sept 6th), so yeah everybody in addition to advice here it'd be cool if you maybe send me a message or something, get some friendships started, ha.

anyway, to the first poster, yeah i intend on being a nice guy :) im not looking for sex or anything, not until marriage. i just want a relationship already haha, preferably a meaningful one. and yeah haha i should have seen the "awww" coming lol.

And I think it's nice that you're not going to go after a girl just for sex, unlike some people. It shows that you have a lot of respect towards women. Just convey that respect to others. :)
