That's about 6 3/4" which is size many guys could be jealous of, so no worries there (all though I'm not quite sure what you mean by "shameful").

The condom thing is probably down to nerves. Its pretty difficult because if you have a problem the first time then you probably even more nervous next time. Just try and relax, maybe have a little drink if you can to help get yourself relaxed.
